However, I do see photographers who have lost their spark. They've forgotten how to think, because art directors are essentially controlling the whole gig, not them. The most one can do is add their own look, but it is always going to be what the brief dictates.
I've assembled quite an army of lights and equipment now. Its the minimum set-up for a studio and has taken up a sixth of the apartment. I have a softbox, two heads and a 1200w pack, one umbrella head, backgrounds, the right lenses, a heavy duty tripod, a 3-way head, and the rest are trade secrets :)
